to the news that I read on KBTX 3, there was a deadly accident that occurred in
Walker County. The accident that resulted in the death of Roderick Lucas, who
was 53 years old and from Huntsville, was a one-vehicle accident that occurred
on FM 980. The car was going around a bend at an excessively high speed, and it
collided with a tree. Kaila Lin Stanley, who was 36 years old and from
Angleton, was the passenger who got significant injuries and was sent to
Hermann Memorial Hospital for treatment thereafter. An investigation is
presently being carried out. I hope whoever is responsible for this will be
penalized and sent to prison.
